Dime Street Challenge 2022 Photo Recap
9/27/2022
It is Glory Challenge tradition to congregate at Montreal’s steepest hill for Sunday Brunch. This year, despite the weather forecast announcing the worst, we receive word from Dime that the event will still happen no matter what. So the crew stacks up on hotel ponchos and heads to Hotel-De-Ville street. This should be fun.

Good morning, Pedro
Elijah and Rowan lead the way
A rail has been installed on the pavement of Montreal’s most challenging hill. A large group of people gathers
The skaters make their way to the top and things are about to begin
Psycho Dro breaks the ice with his psycho dry weatherproof setup
And he slips out! This is gonna be difficult
Next up, Rowan Zorilla goes for the boardslide...
...with some debris in tow
The crowd loves it!
Alexis Lacroix steps up to a 36-foot Soap slide
The rain is not stopping, which leaves the crew with only one option...
EXTEND THE RAIL
"Sixty feet should do it"
Big smiles everywhere
Rozo back up for another boardslide attempt
And Pedro Delfino hops on a cross-locked frontside 50-50
Straight into the hill, what a beast
Now, Chandler Burton gets juiced
Backside flip
Riding it out is the real trick today
Leon Chapdelaine gives it a go, crook pop over
Frankie Decker throws a waterlogged frontside flip
Perfect roll away
Alexis attempts the longest Soap slide of all time
And he does it! VALDEZ HANDS UP, EVERYBODY!
Incredible
Rowan still wants the full rail
And he's willing to fight for it
He's back on it
And after a lot of sliding around...
...HE GETS THE MAKE!
The crowd goes nuts
Rain or shine, the tradition continues. What a great day! Thanks for coming, everybody!
