Frame of Mind: Motivational Skate Posters
9/14/2012
Inspiration can originate from many different places. Hopefully, yours doesn’t come from a poster containing a cornball quote paired up with a glossy, screensaver image. Usually, these displays have a dramatically-lit nature shot. Or maybe a cat clinging to a tree branch—“Hang in there, baby!” You can find posters like these within workplace cubicle-country. Or maybe you’ve seen them when you were bored out of your mind on an airplane, flipping through a SkyMall catalog. Or, of course, they're all over the internet, most of which have been posted by your aunt. If these motivations give some people a little extra juice each day, so be it. But let’s at least take these sentiments through a skate spin cycle. As originally seen in the June 2010 mag, with a few new tweaks.
